Job Description
A reputable company is looking for an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure food preparation, hygiene, and service standards are maintained. The ideal candidate should have good leadership skills, kitchen experience, and the ability to coordinate staff efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily kitchen operations and coordinate kitchen staff.Assign duties and monitor the performance of kitchen employees.Ensure food is prepared according to quality and presentation standards.Monitor food preparation, cooking, and plating activities.Maintain proper food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.Check stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing or store team.Monitor food storage and ensure proper handling of ingredients.Minimize food waste and control kitchen operating costs.Ensure kitchen equipment is clean, safe, and properly maintained.Train and guide kitchen staff on procedures and hygiene practices.Coordinate with chefs, restaurant staff, and management to ensure smooth service.Handle kitchen-related issues and resolve operational problems promptly.
Requirements:
High School Diploma, Diploma in Hospitality, or relevant culinary qualification.Previous experience in a kitchen supervisory role is preferred.Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, and safety procedures.Strong leadership and team-management skills.Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.Good communication and organizational skills.Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is an advantage.UAE hospitality experience is preferred.
