Job Description
A reputable company is hiring a Cashier to handle customer transactions, process payments, issue receipts, and provide friendly customer service. The position is suitable for freshers and experienced candidates with good communication and basic numerical skills.
Responsibilities:
Process cash, card, and other customer payments accurately.Issue receipts, invoices, and payment confirmations.Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate cash records.Assist customers with basic inquiries and provide product information.Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system.Verify prices, discounts, and promotional offers.Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.Perform cash counting and assist with daily cash reconciliation.Report payment discrepancies or transaction issues to the supervisor.Support other store activities when required.Follow company policies and cash-handling procedures.
Requirements:
Previous cashier or retail experience is an advantage.Freshers are welcome to apply.Basic mathematics and computer skills.Good communication and customer service skills.Honest, responsible, and attentive to detail.Ability to handle cash accurately.Friendly and positive attitude.Ability to work flexible shifts when required.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
