Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team with daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecord day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting processMaintain and reconcile general ledger accountsAssist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsProcess invoices, payments, and expense reportsHandle petty cash transactions and maintain recordsAssist in bank reconciliations and cash flow trackingSupport month-end and year-end closing processesMaintain proper documentation and filing of financial recordsAssist in preparing financial reports and statementsCoordinate with internal teams for accounting-related mattersEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting standardsRequirements & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field1-3 years of accounting experience (freshers with strong knowledge can also apply)Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practicesFamiliarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred SkillsExperience in handling VAT filings (UAE VAT knowledge is an advantage)Exposure to inventory accounting or project costingBasic understanding of financial reporting
