Job Summary: Safety Officer - Construction (Dubai)
We are looking for a qualified and responsible **Safety Officer** to join a team based on **27th street, Dubai**, likely within the Construction sector. Salary:
- Range: AED 2,501 - AED 3,000 per month
Responsibilities:
- 🔍 Monitor work areas constantly to identify potential hazards and unsafe working conditions.
- 📋 Conduct regular safety inspections and contribute to risk assessments.
- 👷 Ensure all workers adhere to established safety procedures and correctly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- ✍️ Report and participate in the investigation of any accidents or near-miss incidents.
- 📊 Keep accurate records of safety training sessions attended by staff and details of any safety incidents.
- 🤝 Support the entire team in fostering and maintaining a strong safety-first culture on site.
Requirements:
- 👍 Previous experience (1-2 years) working as a Safety Officer or in a related safety role is preferred.
- 📚 Knowledge of relevant health and safety standards and regulations (e.g., UAE regulations, construction safety).
- 🎓 Safety certification (like NEBOSH IGC or equivalent) is a definite advantage.
- 👀 Good communication and strong observation skills are essential.
- 💪 Able to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
- ✅ Must be reliable, responsible, and proactive about safety.
