Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Registered Nurses in carrying out established patient care plans.
- Accurately take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate).
- Provide essential support to patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within patient areas and the facility.
- Assist nursing staff during medical procedures and with patient care tasks as directed.
- Help ensure patient comfort and safety, responding to basic needs.
- Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report any observed changes to the nursing staff.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Diploma or certification in nursing assistance or a related healthcare support field.
- Previous experience (1-2 years) working in a hospital, clinic, or long-term care facility is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and standard patient care practices.
- Must demonstrate empathy, patience, and possess good communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is typically required.
